TERMS AND CONDITIONS

DEPOSIT AND BALANCE PAYMENT - DRY HIRE / ON THE DAY STYLING PACKAGES

A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required to secure the event date, this deposit will be deducted from your final balance.

Payment of this deposit indicates you accept these terms and conditions.

An invoice will be sent with the remaining balance, to be paid 6 weeks prior to your event date. Late payment can adversely affect availability of stock, therefore your booking may result in being cancelled and your initial deposit will be lost.

All payments must be paid via bank transfer.

 

DEPOSIT AND BALANCE PAYMENT - MINIMUM SPEND PACKAGE

We will require two separate 20% deposits for your hire items and chosen styling package to secure your date. When your last payment is due the 'on the day' 4 hour styling package will be deducted.

 

DEPOSIT AND BALANCE PAYMENT - ALL INCLUSIVE

For All inclusive package we periodise your payments.

A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required to secure the event date, this deposit will be deducted from your final balance.

A further non-refundable 40% of your total balance is then required to pay for the work already taken leading up to your event date.

A final payment of the remaining 40% balance will then need to be paid 6 weeks prior to your event date.

Payment of this deposit indicates you accept these terms and conditions.

Late payment may result in your event being cancelled and your periodic payments lost.

All payments must be paid via bank transfer.

 

CHANGES AND ADDITIONS - FOR DRY HIRE

Once the initial proposal has been agreed, we cannot then guarantee a change of stock will be available but we will accommodate where possible.

After the final balance has been paid, any additional requests made leading up to your wedding, a separate invoice will be sent and must be paid before the event.

RENTAL ITEMS

Our hire window is 48 hours but can be determined on your requirements. Any amendments to this hire window need to be pre-discussed between both parties and will be shown otherwise on your invoice.

We cannot be held responsible if items don’t match other hire items provided by other external suppliers. Please note all wooden items are naturally sourced, therefore cracks can be visible and sizes and shapes may vary.

You are solely responsible for all hired goods for the duration of the hire period, not the event venue or any other third party.

The hired items must be kept in the same condition from the time of receipt until back in the possession of Lola + Luna.

Failure to return hired goods at the correct time may incur a fee. Lola + Luna are not responsible for any injury, damage or death to any persons or property during the hire period.

DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION

The delivery and collection fee is determined upon your order and distance to the venue and will be itemised on your quote.

Installation or set-up of items is an extra charge, please see styling packages for more information.

The delivery fee may be subject to change should you then change any details agreed upon at time of booking. Unless a set-up fee has been charged and agreed upon by Lola + Luna, we are not responsible for the set-up of item/s.

Prices are based upon a 48 hour hire window unless otherwise pre-agreed. Collection and return is also available from our LS25 location all items must be returned within the hire window. Any amendments to this hire window need to be pre-discussed between both parties and will be shown otherwise on your invoice. The hire period shall begin and end at the time of delivery/client pick-up and return/retrieval, at the location agreed by both parties.

DAMAGES AND SAFETY

Please note, if you or anyone other than the Lola + Luna team try and set up and/or move any of our items it is at your own risk. We cannot take responsibility for any injuries to person and/or persons or damages to property, that occur due to objects being set up and/or moved.

Before you confirm your booking, always check with the venue that you have the suitable permissions to decorate the venue freely. Alternatively, under our styling package we would be happy to coordinate with the venue on your behalf.

Caution should be exercised in particular with the use of candles. Lola + Luna shall not be liable for any damage/injury/loss caused as a result of using candles.

We may require a refundable damage deposit for our items, this will be determined at final payment. The refund will be issued within 7 days, once we have received goods and checked for damages. If more items are damaged than the original damage deposit, then Lola + Luna will invoice you for any extra cost and this must be paid within 14 working days.

OTHER SUPPLIERS

We do not provide flowers with our props and backdrops unless pre agreed at time of booking. We will be happy to share a list of recommended suppliers to help compliment our products on your wedding day. We are happy to provide you with any dimensions of goods. Styling packages include liaising with vendors or suppliers directly.

WET WEATHER / INSTALLATIONS

If you have chosen items for outdoors and the weather is behaving badly, we can discuss alternative options as close to the date as is reasonable. We encourage you to have a ‘wet weather’ plan. Please bear in mind, this plan would need to be at the agreed budget that we have originally quoted. Any wet weather plan will need to be agreed in writing (email will do), at least two weeks before your wedding date. This can then be implemented during the days leading up to your wedding.

PHOTOGRAPHY

It is normal practice for your photographer to share photographs of your day for our promotional purposes. If your photographer is unable to do this, we will ask you to share them with us. Lola + Luna will always credit your photographer accordingly.

We reserve the right to publish any photos of our own props for promotional purposes. If for any reason a person or persons are in the photo, we will always gain permission before publishing.

MEETINGS AND COMMUNICATIONS

Our business hours are 9 – 5 Monday to Friday, all emails, site visits, meetings and phone calls will be during these times unless agreed otherwise.

We always aim to respond quickly to emails, however during wedding season, it may take a little longer to get back to you. We ask for your patience on those occasions.

INSURANCE

Lola + Luna are fully insured. You may request a copy of our insurance certificate at any time.

CANCELLATIONS - FOR DRY HIRE / ON THE DAY STYLING PACKAGES / MINIMUM SPEND PACKAGE

Initial proposal deposit is non-refundable.

Cancellation within 18 weeks of the event date will incur a charge of 25% of the remaining balance, in addition to the deposit paid.

Cancellation within 12 weeks of the event date will incur a charge of 50% of the remaining balance, in addition to the deposit paid.

The full balance is then due 6 weeks prior to your wedding date, if your booking is cancelled within 6 weeks of your event date, no transactions will be refunded.

If your wedding date cannot be fulfilled due to force majeure - I.E extreme weather, flood, fire, pandemic or any other acts of god. If this occurs, Lola + Luna will try our very best to move this booking to your new date. If no suitable date can be agreed upon, we encourage you to take out wedding insurance to cover your losses.

If for any unforeseeable reason Lola + Luna need to cancel your booking, we will refund any transactions made and also provide you with a list of recommended suppliers.

CANCELLATIONS - FOR ALL INCLUSIVE PACKAGES

All periodic payments are non-refundable.

If this occurs, Lola + Luna will try our very best to move this booking to your new date. If no suitable date can be agreed upon, we encourage you to take out wedding insurance to cover your losses.

If for any unforeseeable reason Lola + Luna need to cancel your booking, we will refund any transactions made and also provide you with a list of recommended wedding planners.

CUSTOMER DECLARATION

Payment of the initial proposal deposit indicates that you have read and accepted these terms and conditions.
